My Sunday Scoop...

Join The Teaching Trio for today's Linky! Get link on button below.
Here's my scoop:

This year, I AM NOT, I repeat, AM NOT, going to sit down and try to do all of my report card comments at once.  If I commit to just two a day, I'll get them done in plenty of time and won't feel so stressed out about them.  Two a day is a walk in the park, right? Yea to stress-free anything!

Check back later if you want my Freebie Ones/Tens/Hundreds Place Value Exchange Game.  Hope to have done it today but most likely tomorrow.  I'll link it here.  UPDATE: It's DONE!

My team and I are super close and I'm lucky to work with women like them.  Simply AMAZING!  Finding a mutual date where everyone is available for a get-together has been tough.  But we've finally found one at the end of the month!  FINALLY!  Starting to plan it today.  Dinner and then fun or skip dinner and concentrate on a loooong cocktail "hour" with tons of appetizers and desserts??? Hmmm....Decisions, decisions.

Have a great Sunday and an even better week!

  1. I'm ALWAYS waiting until the very last minute to do my report cards and ALWAYS end up wondering why I never started before!!! I can't wait to see what you've got planned for your new blog design :)

    Enjoy your get-together :)

    1. No new blog design...I just got this one and LOVE it! I'm actually making my author website match this one. My website is SO outdated because the program doesn't exist anymore and I cannot update it. I don't think I even have my last 15 published books on it! Eek! So, I feel like I look so unprofessional. I need to tell Christi (designer) what I want to keep/discard.

Here's to doing report cards in increments! Thanks so much for stopping by!

  2. Oh I shall be checking back for your resources for sure! We are just in the middle of Place Value so anything new to mix it up a bit is very welcome! I'm lucky enough to work with some amazing ladies too- it makes the day skip by that little bit smoother doesn't it?! Have a lovely week Xx

  4. Are you applying to Syracuse for something? That's not far from where I grew up, and I come from a family of SU fans! We used to have season tickets for the basketball games. Love, love, love it! Hope you are ready for the snow!

I LOVE the two comments a day idea. I should maybe start that now as well as our report cards come out in just a few short weeks! Have a wonderful week!

    1. Never mind the question about SU. I just read your tagged post and saw that it's your daughter! Great place to visit. You MUST eat at Dinosaur BBQ! :-)

    2. Sarah is thrilled to be going there in September. My husband is VERY excited about Dinosaur BBQ! (So is Sarah!) We will be visiting again soon and it's on our must-do list for our next visit. A nice way to end the day.

I went to Seton Hall many moons ago and Syracuse was our rival back then. Different conferences now.

  5. Congrats on Syracuse! I almost went there- it was between UMiami, Syracuse, and TCNJ. TCNJ won. I vote for a long happy hour with your team!

  7. I remember the days of report card comments (I'm now retired) and pulling my hair out over them! I used to have a "cheat sheet" of suggestions - may need to find it in my files! It would make a great freebie!
